Request a quote
Tell us your date, venue and whether we deliver. We email a written quote within 24–48 hours.

Book & pay
Complete the booking form and pay in full to secure your items and date.

Delivery or collection
We deliver and set up, or you collect from our Hallam warehouse at your nominated time.
05
Return
Items come back on the nominated date within your 3-day hire, and your bond is released.

Standard hire
Hire prices cover up to 3 days. Longer hires are quoted separately.
$150
Minimum order
$150 for warehouse pick-up and $300 for delivery, before delivery and setup fees.

One Big Day delivers and picks up
Delivery charges depend on your location, travel time, fuel and tolls.
Standard business hours are 7am–3pm weekdays and 8:30am–4:30pm weekends. Sundays and before- or after-hours times cost extra.
Setup and pack-down can be added and is quoted with your items.
Surcharges may apply for stairs, lifts, parking or extra staff.
You collect and return
From our Hallam warehouse, Monday to Friday 10am–2pm.
Covered vehicles only, such as vans and trucks. No open trailers.
Bring straps or ropes, plus blankets to protect the items.
A late fee from $50.00 applies if items aren’t returned at the agreed time.

Start by requesting a quote. Browse our hire categories, add the items you’d like to your quote list, then send it to us through our Request a Quote page with your event details. We’ll confirm availability and email you a written quote. Once you’re happy, complete our booking form to secure your items and date.
No, the hire price covers up to 3 days worth of hire, if additional days are required a higher price will be quoted.
Yes. A security bond is held as a temporary pre-authorisation on the credit card you provide on our booking form. It’s based on the total value of your hire and is placed before your items are collected or delivered. It’s released back to your card within 5 business days of the items being returned in the same condition. Nothing is charged unless something is damaged, lost or returned late, and we will always contact you first, with the amount and the reason, before anything is deducted.
Yes, Delivery / Collection of equipment can be arranged however additional delivery charges will apply depending on your location. These charges will include the time taken for a staff member to deliver and collect the equipment, petrol costs and tolls if applicable for the trips. Additional surcharges may apply for certain factors (i.e building accessibility, stairs, lifts, additional staff members if required on big items, distance, access to parking ect). An accurate quote can be made if you contact us via email stating your particular requirements for deliveries and or collections.
Our hire period is for up to 3 days, a nominated pick and drop off time will be advised on the booking form; however we do understand that this is not always the case and alternatives times can be arranged at a mutually agreed time.
